Refund and Cancellation Policy

This article explains Castr's refund policy and walks you through the cancellation process. If you need to cancel your subscription or request a refund, please read this guide before contacting support.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your Castr subscription at any time from your dashboard:

  1. Log in to your Castr Dashboard

  2. Go to Settings β†’ Billing

  3. Click Cancel Subscription

  4. Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation

After cancellation:

  • Your plan remains active until the end of your current billing period

  • You will not be charged again after the current period ends

  • Your streams and data will remain accessible until the plan expires

Refund Policy

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis by the Castr billing team. Here's what you should know:

  • Refunds are not automatic. Cancelling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund.

  • Eligibility depends on usage. If you have actively used the service (streamed, uploaded content, etc.), refunds may not be granted.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact Castr support through the chat widget on your dashboard. Please include:

  • Your account email address

  • The reason for your refund request

  • Any relevant details (e.g., date of charge, plan type)

The billing team typically responds within 24–48 hours. You will be notified via email and chat once a decision has been made.

Common Billing Questions

  • I was charged after cancelling. If you cancelled after your billing date, the charge may have already been processed. Your plan will still remain active until the end of the paid period.

  • I see an unexpected charge. Check if you have overage protection enabled (available on Premium plans and above). Overage charges are billed separately when your bandwidth exceeds the plan limit. Learn more about what to do when your account hits bandwidth overage

  • How do I update my payment method? Go to Settings β†’ Billing in your dashboard to update your credit card or payment details.
