What is the Alert Feature?
The Alert feature is designed to keep you informed about your stream's status at all times. In the event of a network issue, encoder problem, or any other reason for your stream going down, Castr will instantly send a warning message to the phone number you have selected. With this feature, you can ensure that you never miss out on crucial streaming moments.
How to Set Up Alert for a stream
To enable alerts for a stream, head over to the stream's Alert tab and toggle the feature on.
Visit the Account tab and make the appropriate changes if you need to update your phone number
What subscription plan has Alert?
Alert is included with Premium or higher plans. (If you have a legacy plan, you can still access this feature if you have Multistream Premium, All in One Plus, or higher plans)

Limitations of the Alert feature
The Alert feature comes with some limitations, including:
On eligible subscription plans, you can receive a maximum of 20 alert messages per month.
Each Castr account can only have one phone number set up to receive alert messages.
