Larix Broadcaster is a mobile app for live streaming directly from your smartphone to Castr. Larix Broadcaster is available on both App Store and Google Play.

How to Connect Larix with Castr Using the SRT Ingest

When you finished installing the app, go to Settings Menu > New connections
Name the stream as you like
In Castr's Stream Dashboard, retrieve the SRT Push URL

For example:

An SRT stream URL will look like this:

srt://sg-central.castr.io:9998?pkt_size=1316&streamid=#!::r=live_90aa69e00fb411eca439857971ea117e,password=6076cef4

4. In Larix's Connection Setup, fill in the URL and StreamID fields as below:

The URL is the first part of the SRT link provided by Castr.

StreamID is the part after streamid= in the SRT link.

For the rest of the settings please follow as in screenshots (Passphrase should be left empty).

5. Once you've completed the setup, the stream will be displayed on Castr's preview
