Workspaces help you manage content for different clients, events, teams, or projects without needing to create multiple Castr accounts. For example, you can create separate workspaces for different churches, schools, clients, or events, and keep their livestreams, VODs, pre-recorded streams, and other content organized separately.
What are Workspaces?
A workspace is a dedicated area inside your Castr account where you can manage content separately from other workspaces.
Each account includes a default workspace. You can create additional workspaces to manage different events, clients, or projects.
For example, you may have workspaces such as:
Your Workspace
Amazing Church
South Church
Graduation Event
Content created inside one workspace will not appear inside another workspace. For example, livestreams created in Your Workspace will not be visible in Amazing Church, South Church, or Graduation Event. This separation applies to livestreams, VODs, pre-recorded streams, and other Castr features.
How to Create Workspaces
Click the workspace switcher in the top-left corner of the dashboard.
Click New workspace.
Enter a workspace name.
Select a workspace color.
Save the workspace.
How to Access Workspaces
Log in to your Castr dashboard.
Open the workspace switcher from the left sidebar.
Select an existing workspace or click New workspace to create a new one.
Use Manage workspaces to update workspace settings.
Use Invite members to add team members to a specific workspace.
Workspace Resource Usage
All workspaces share the resources included in your main Castr plan.
For example, if your plan allows up to 13 livestreams, you can create a total of 13 livestreams across all workspaces combined. This limit is not applied separately to each workspace.
You can distribute your livestreams across workspaces in any way you prefer, as long as your total usage stays within your plan limits.
Team Member Access
You can invite team members to specific workspaces. Team members invited to a workspace will only have access to that workspace’s content.
For example, a team member assigned to the Amazing Church workspace can help manage content in that workspace without accessing content from South Church, Graduation Event, or other workspaces.
